Abstract series

In June, seeing the icebergs near Höfn í Hornafirði in Iceland is unforgettable. The air is cool but softened by summer light, and the ice glows in shades of blue against the bright sky. With the endless daylight, the scene feels clear, calm, and yet so powerful.

Inspired by Icelandic clarity and stillness, I created an abstract oil painting. Smooth, fluid strokes are set against sharp edges to represent the ice and strength of this landscape.
