Abstract series

This abstract landscape is inspired by the dunes in the Westduinpark in The Hague. Typical Dutch clouds hover over Zuiderstrand — the beach near my house where I love to walk.

Did you know that between 2011 and 2013, the Westduinpark was returned to its natural state? With drifting dunes, native plants, and even Scottish Highland cattle helping out to restore the natural landscape. When I encounter these highlanders, I always ask myself: to pass or not to pass…
